Sadly our eldest son, Brendan passed away from brain cancer at the age of 14 on 9/22/13 so the last 3 years or so have been a completely crazy time. We are just beginning to get back to blogging and crafting!
Can you believe Christmas is right around the corner! I have been cleaning house finding things to sell, to get some extra spending money for the holidays. I have decided to make many gifts this year. Now I just need more hours in the day!
I plan to make some stocking this year. 13 Years ago when we were first married I bought 2 of the most adorable stockings. The next year for our son's first christmas I bought 2 more from the same company slightly different but coordinating. Now that we have 2 more kiddos, I want them all to match. I have thought of doing this for close to 4 years now even before we had 2 more kids. I think I might just do it this year! Finally, making some progress on crafting some items for sale. Several wipes added today, and more on the way! Any requests? So I have been experimenting with a new diaper design and new materials. My 2 year old has been testing them and I think I love them but I need a serger to make them for him. Turning and topstiching makes too much bulk and he says "owie mommy" I ultimately want these for my kids 2 year old and my 7 month old but I would love to make extras and bring in a few bucks so I can continue to stay at home with my kids, but also help some lower income families realize how cheap cloth diapering can be, and cute! My quest for a serger has begun, I have never owned one, never used one but the time has come. If you happen to read this and have one you no longer need, contact me so we can work out a deal!
I am now settled into a routine with our 4th child - a girl! I am starting to sew a lot more and really get some stuff accomplished!
We are expecting again in February so diaper production is going into full swing again. I will begin next week (waiting to know if boy or girl) really going crazy! I have started making some adorable bibs, just need to get the snaps on them and then they will be posted! They are too cute! If you have any questions in the meantime just use the contac
Our blog and other pages are up and running finally! We Welcome any feedback via the Contact page! Welcome!
